Use of alcohol tinctures; was New to Group

I don't use many alcohol tinctures because of my sensitivity to alcohol. The

ones I do use, I put into a little hot water to steam off the alcohol. Still, if

you're allergic to something inthe alcohol, it would still be a problem.

Anotehr option sometimes is glycerites. I make my many of my own, using

vegetable glycerine instead of alcohol.

My main use, however, is of powders. I put them into a smoothie, or on top of

food. Just measure out the amount needed and eat it directly. That's the

cheapest way for many of the buhner herbs. However, many of the items listed

here are not available as single herbs that way.

It can be overwhelming in the beginning. For me, as I continued treatment, it

became easier,, both because I developed a schedule/routine for taking my herbs,

and also because eventually the brain fog lifted enough that I could think

better.
