I now take N Acetyl Cysteine amino acid three times daily to help my liver also which gets clogged from me not producing enough Glutathione. Hope this helps. I was warned when I went on IV Rocephin my symptoms might get worse for a while (herx) or I might develop new ones. He thought I wouldn't herx because I'd been on Ceftin for 2 months before switching to Rocephin (same drug). Is your LLMD on board with you doing herbals at the same time as the IV Rocephin? Mine asked me to wait until I felt better (remission?)--probably because he didn't know enough about Buhner's protocol (though he had heard of it and had no bias against it). [ ] Inflamation... The doc was OK with the herbs, but said he knows little about them.
