I am interested in this question also.

I did not realize that the sore bottoms of feet was a LD / co-infection thing.

(I also have ankle issues and sore bottoms of feet that get better after

walking.) I have herxed in my left ankle. The effervescent vitamin c helps

some. (Just got back from playing soccer and expect to limp some tomorrow. )

[ ] CoInfections of BB, Babesia & Bartonella

Have been diagnosed with multiple infections of LD.

Right now, am truly bothered by Bartonella part of LD with very sore ankles,

achilles tendon in left heel/leg and bottom of feet very sore most of day.

Excessive fatigue is problematic.

My particular LD goes back to late 70's, early 80's and finally diagnosed in

1991. Multiple orals and two picc lines.

Recently Bartonella has been thrown in the mix. I am interested in obtaining

some affordable herbal remedies for systemic picture of Lyme w/o sacrificing

cost of buying usual and customary abx. This has become a journey of illness

that is progressively expensive to treat.

Any suggestions please advise.

My wife was not able to get rid of her sore feet finally. She had them still

when she had her main Lyme symptoms down to a minimum. It was occurring even

on salt/c, CS by itself or herbs. It wasn't until she started using the

DP100 rife machine that she got relief from the sore feet!

For her it would be whenever she got up in the morning or after sitting for

a long time. Her feet would hurt for awhile.

Her current protocol is 12 ounces a day of homemade ionic CS and 2 to 3

sessions a week of 6 minutes in the DP100. She sits in it so her whole body

including her feet are within the field.

As mentioned before this information, plus lots more is available free on my

lyme resource CD.

You can lead a person to a fact, but you can't make them think! -

any reliable tests or are their symptoms lists doctors go by?

in Europe we have PCR tests for several coinfections.

If you get a positive PCR that is very strong proof of (co-)infection. However,

with PCR there is a significant risk (often more than 50%) of false negatives,

i.e. the test will not find the bugs even when it is present. So if the

testresult is negative you still don't know much.

These tests are relatively unknown to MD's and used very little.

From one of the numerous entries on my free lyme resource cd. This is from

the directory marked Testing. Lots more in there too...

1. Very best for Lyme - The Lyme Antigen Test from Florida Central Labs.

Unlike other Lyme tests, it measures the actual Lyme bacteria itself in the

body not the antibody made by the body to the Lyme bacteria. Folks may not

be producing adequate antibodies, so such tests can test " negative " when the

person is actually positive. With the LAT, there is no equivocation as it

measures the actual bug. Further, it can tell the level of infection as

well as:

* Stage 1: Early localized infection 1 to 4 weeks

* Stage 2: Early Disseminated infection - 1 to 4 months

* Stage 3: Late Persistent Infection months and years after infection

2. Of the antibody type tests, the Western Blot is one. Most are not the

best but Igenix labs has one that is more sensitive and does a better job.

3. For co-infections (Bartonella, Babesia, Ehrlichia) a very good lab is

Fry labs of AZ.

http://www.frylabs.com/index.php

4. For Mycoplasma (often found with, and mistaken for, Lyme), Medical

Diagnostic labs of NJ.

5. If parasitic infection is suspected, the best is the Parasitology Center

of AZ
