The tests I had done were around $1300. There were five different Lyme tests and

five different co-infection tests. I was positive for 3 out of the ten tests.

A good Lyme test like the Western blot from IgeneX would cost about $150 in

Europe, and this is pretty reliable (but tests are almost never conclusive

either way). In europe most people have to pay these tests out of pocket as

well, because only the standard tests (which are garbage IMHO) are covered

by basic insurance. Is the testing far more expensive over there?

The last time I checked, IGenex lyme test was about $550. That may have included

co-infections, can't remember. Somewhere between the two figures indicated by

others. The best way to find out the price is to call the lab. They are very

helpful. jo

OK, that sounds more similar to prices in Europe. Probably some people have

ordered extra (expensive) tests ...

That is shocking to me! Either they have greatly reduced their prices, or you

were tested for fewer things, or they have developed a cheaper test! Or

something else! If a person is interesed in testing, the best thing to do is to

call IGenex, discuss their situation and get prices based on what they need. I'm

glad you were able to get tested for such a 'reasonably' (at least

comparatively) price! jo

My tests were through IGenex, but it was a group of at least 10 tests, that's

why the price was so high ($1300).
