Do not put the tincture bottle into the water only amount needed at that time. Hugs, Mira [ ] Re: Tinctures--removing the alcohol? Mira, People have different opinions about this (as with anything else).... my understanding is that very hot water (almost boiling) is fine. I don't believe that the heat from the water will diminish the efficacy of the herbal extract. This is how I take all tinctures, as i'm alcohol sensitive.
