Do you > remember which labs were run to determine this? > The condition doesn't have a name-- it's just liver enzyme polymorphisms. Polymorphisms are variations in the gene-- some percentage of the population has the less efficient form of each gene. I happen to have 9 of them. The test was done by Genova Diagnostcs, which you can find online. The report they sent with the results was very thorough. For each polymorphism they detailed what things I couldn't process well, what the likely effects of this would be and some suggestions for offsetting it. I do avoid things known to be hard on the liver, or take smaller doses, and I take a lot of milk thistle and other liver support herbs, as well as a lot of anti-oxidants. With conventional medicine I definitely take smaller doses since they stay in my system much longer. Aurora
