Guest guest
Sounds like you have found a fabulous dr. Good luck! Monty Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T [ ] First Lyme Appointment I just had my 1st visit with Wayne of Gordon Medical in Santa , CA. Three hours! Thank goodness they taped it and gave me a CD. He thinks my only moderately low CD57 (66) means Lyme, while present, isn't the thing that's causing me most trouble. That would be Bartonella followed by Babesia (Bart & Babs?) Makes sense based on symptoms, including many lesions in the white matter of my brain. [He does consider CD57 diagnostic.] I have a lot of gut problems and slow liver detox, so he wants to do a bunch of work on those before going after the infections. Interesting lecture on the stickiness of neurotoxin molecules, which he says can keep on circulating and adhering to tissues all over your body if your elimination systems aren't at the top of their game. So I'll be increasing methylation (various forms of B12 & folic acid with phosphitydal serine) taking a Byron White tincture for parasites, cholastyromine-- a strong binder-- to help remove toxins, and Actigol for increased bile flow-- all to prepare me for the big day when I ramp up the bug-killing herbs. He also recommended that down the road I take Alinia, a drug that is anti-parasitic and also impacts Babesia. By the way, wanted to share that I use Boswellia for joint pain and it's very helpful-- I just run out and foggily forget to replace it and then my joints start hurting again.
