A good Western blot is pretty reliable, false negatives do occur but it is only a small percentage. The test can often not tell if there is an active or past (cured) infection, but that's another issue. CD57 and CD4 doesn't prove anything; this just suggests you have a chronic infection. These are NOT specific for Borrelia (lyme disease).
Guest guest
Get the full Lyme tests, Western Blot etc. Otherwise you are flying blind. It's tough enough even when you have the most current information you can get, but you really need to work with a physician who is knowledgeable about Lyme and its issues. The guy recorded CD's of various frequencies I just started using the zapper after being on the herbs a few weeks I had trouble w rashes w the andrographis I took NAET (allergy eliminationTreatments - energetic work) to clear the 'allergy' to the andrographis And now I'm at full dose Pills & tincture 3-4x/ day Also taking tea: red clover, gotu kola, oats, horsetail, marshmallow, nettles, etc I make my own teas, tinctures & capsules It's a lot to keep up with living alone & working I'm 50 yrs old & female Have had musculoskeletal & joint issues for eons As well as hormonal imbalances Anxiety/ depression that I treat w amino acids & herbs I've intentionally lost about 100 lbs in the last 5 yrs & have about 35 more to go to get where I want to be I'm wondering IF I should do the official Lyme test What the implications would be if I were to get an official diagnosis We were going to repeat the CD57 test in 2 months to see if I'm making any improvements Suggestions of testing & their implications would be much appreciated Thanks Wishing you Light & Love & Ease of well being Randy >
