VSL is a rx probiotic, unfortunately in my area in the NE, the pharmacies

don't carry it (what pharmacies in your areas carry this?), they wanted me

to substitute for otc florastar, I've done it and it wasn't nearly as good

as the VSL. I was able to buy it on-line w/o a script, but I had to pay

out of pocket.

Another thing you can do, if your dr. is willing, have them order it from

the on-line pharmacy for you.

because it is a Rx, insurance will cover it....people with other illnesses

also

need this, not just us lymies

insurance companies will insist on generics when they can, but otherwise

they

are not to override a MD's orders....I don't think you'll have a problem,

but

you could ask ahead of time, too

many MD's are unfamiliar with it coming in a Rx strength

I live in the Northeast as well and my local little mom and pop pharmacy orders

the Rx VSL#3DS just for me. Check around at other pharmacies and not just the

chains and maybe you will find one that can order this for you.
