Guest guest
Has anyone here traveled with their herbs? If I have many bottles of tinctures and other containers of herbs will they stop me? Confiscate them? I would prefer not spending vacation money and vacation time buying herbs, but am wondering whether trying to take herbs along will cause problems. Does anyone have an experience of that to share? Guest guest
My daughter is in Uganda doing PhD research (chimps) and she was explicitly told by Ugandan govt officials that even her meds will be limited...and all supplements and herbs have to be in sealed recognizable containers--like NOT self packaged. A few people had things confiscated when they landed and went thru customs but since all my kid had were the antimalarials and a few otc's ( cold stuff, tummy stuff, allergy stuff and multi vites) she was ok Id suggest asking each country youll be landing in for their policies adn if staying here in the U.S, well, thats a whole other story---here its very unpredictable. Unfortunately while we have " policies " it depends upon the airport and the official you get. good lukc and i hope you enjoy your trip F
