Being Alone- dying and not being found

I can so relate to that.......I am always afraid I will die here and not be

found for weeks, months.....who knows.  I have BIG bowls of water around the

house for my cats and lots of food too.  I go for weeks without seeing a soul so

I really need my pets.

A few days ago a fan motor burned out while I was sleeping.  It got so hot

that the plastic blades and cage melted and released probably toxic fumes, but

no smoke that would have set off the alarms.  I think I was slightly drugged by

those fumes because the fan was near me.  I found it odd that the breaker was

not thrown.

One of the cats jumped up onto my chest, dug her claws into my shoulders,

poked me in the face with her nose while she yowled.  That is unheard of

behavior for her.  I felt groggy, but I was able to get up and call 911.

Wow! I had a similar incident after I split from my ex. I was renting an apt.

and the scum lord I mean landlord was too cheap to replace the heater so he had

his handyman " fix it " .

Then one day, I was laying back in my Lazy Boy and fell asleep. All of a sudden

my small dog jumped from a distance upon my chest and woke me up. I felt so

groggy I felt like I was dying. I got up and stumbled outside. I couldn't

believe what had just happened.

Later that same day the electric company red tagged that heater and I finally

got a new one. That is something that will stick with me forever.

Thank god for our four legged family members!

:D
