feeds bugs too. Was thinking more oral iron. Does anyone know if infusion feeds

them?

Borrelia uses very little Iron - less than ten Iron atoms per cell, which is

almost nothing. Only the Super Oxide Dismutase enzyme of Bb is Iron-based.

Instead of Iron most Borrelia proteins use zinc (or other trace elements).

Most bugs can be 'starved' by removing Iron from the blood, which is one of the

strategies your body uses to combat infection. But for Bb this doesn't work

because it hardly needs Iron.
