Guest guest
Yes, it is per my LLND, Dr. Klinghardt and Dr. Maiki. My ND and Dr. Maiki(Who works under Dr. Kilnghardt and my friend went tot hem yesterday) say that if the transdermal along with epsom salt baths isnt enough to keep you feeling calmer and your bowles moving then oral is ok but not recommended. The way it is converted by the liver orally feeds the bugs. I got my transdermal stuff today and did 8 sprays(3 at a time) into my hand and applied to inner thighs and inner upper arms and 2 hours later took an epsom salt bath after my sauna and my constipation cleared! I feel mucho better!!!! Guest guest
I have never heard this either. I just started taking magnesium to help w muscle spasms and constipation. So what is the transdermal stuff? How do u get it? I need a sauna so bad. Would taking magnesium cause the bugs to be more active so symptoms go up? Was thinking it was abx and herx......I am also doing iron iv infusion bc my feritin was at 4. I have heard iron feeds bugs too. Was thinking more oral iron. Does anyone know if infusion feeds them? My hemotologist is not a lyme believer. Feel like I am starting to have many unanswered questions. How do we (all of you) keep up with your symptoms and treatment? Exhausted by it these days. Trying to sleep.... Monty Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T Re: [ ] Constipation + Bloating Date: Friday, September 3, 2010, 2:28 PM Â I've never heard that oral magnesium feeds the bugs! Is that true? Guest guest
Monty,  For me it has been learning about Detoxification, including your diet. I just know what my doctors tell me and they seem to be very knowledgeble. I have to go very slow with my products because my babesia load is very very high. they also have me taking drainage homeopathic herbs which help clear my kidneys, lumph system and liver. it is hard to keep up with all the info out of there. I just follow my heart and what feels right to me. I did notice that when i took oral mag that i herx'd more. i have had 3 BM " S today since doing the topical mag and I had not had one in 4 days before this. I also take my trace minerals 3 times per day and do my sauna. I got my transdermal mag oil at the link below. Im not sure about the iron, but I will ask my ND about it next week. I have found better sleep the past 2 weeks most night since adding the detox drops and sweating in my sauna and then a cold shower followed by a warm epsom salt bath and melatonin. Guest guest
Monty, I feel just like you much of the time. There is just soooo much to deal with and soooo much info, much of it conflicting, so we all have unanswered questions all the time which is so very difficult!!. We all seem to respond in different ways to treatments. I'm often not sure if I'm getting worse, herxing or having a side effect from a drug or herb. And unless we have millions, we can't take advantage of many options. So I go crazy, taking in too much info for a while and then I just put my head down and focus on what I can do. And I believe that I'll get well. I can't afford a sauna but I can take epsom baths. I boil a couple of pots of water and keep adding it to my bath so I'm in really hot water for at least 45 minutes. I also drink hot tea when I get in and boy do I sweat! I follow that with a cool shower. I am low on magnesium so even though it might be feeding the bugs, I have to help my body out by providing it. I take the herbs and do rife, but take breaks when it is all too much. This site is so helpful because everyone has so much info but I don't read it all because it is too much to process and that gets me stressed and then I feel worse. So I do what I can, stick with a plan for a while and see how I'm feeling overall, then reevaluate and try something else if I don't see improvement. And it's hard to measure improvement for me since there are constant ups and downs and new symptoms sprouting here and there. I have to think back to what I was doing a year ago and then I realize that I am able to do many things now that I couldn't then, so I must be improving! I have tried EVERYTHING for sleep I swear, and what I now know is that something will help for a while and then it will stop helping so I switch to something else. I prefer to go the natural route but what helps me now, when I need to calm my buzzing nervous system is a very low dose of Xanax. Melatonin makes me very sleepy at bedtime but only works for a while. Wishing you and everyone peace, healing and happiness! judy in NH On Sep 4, 2010, at 12:14 AM, MG wrote: > Monty, > > For me it has been learning about Detoxification, including your diet. Guest guest
Not sure if the question is re the difference between transdermal spray and epsom salts but if so: Transdermal magnesium oil is magnesium chloride. It is a flake that is dissolved in water so not really an oil but it has an oily consistency. 8 sprays contains 100 mg of elemental magnesium. I started using this to bypass the gut and any issues that may be related (ability to absorb but also frequency of bathroom visits). Epsom salts are magnesium sulfate. My understanding is that mag chloride has longer lasting effect than mag sulfate but you'd have to confirm that. deb > > > > Yes, it is per my LLND, Dr. Klinghardt and Dr. Maiki. Guest guest
I just started using this: http://www.magneticclay.com/store/magnesium-oil-ancient-minerals-8.aspx There might be a cheaper brand out there. But, this seems like it's very good quality and highly recommended. Best, Connie Re: [ ] Re: Constipation + Bloating...Connie what is the product you use (spray magnesium)? thanks, hannah -----Original Message-----
Guest guest
Connie I love mine I bought the same one. Using it twice daily plus epsom salt bath after ym sauna at night and it helps my BM'S a great deal. Feels gross when it dries but you just wipe it off. So 8 sprays twice daily= 200mg. hugs From: Connie Blaze <connieblaz@...> Subject: Re: [ ] Re: Constipation + Bloating...Connie Date: Tuesday, September 7, 2010, 11:21 AM Â I just started using this: http://www.magneticclay.com/store/magnesium-oil-ancient-minerals-8.aspx There might be a cheaper brand out there.
