(Oops I'm sorry I forgot to change the subject line so I am resending!)

In response to:

" I haven't heard of buhners tea, do you take this in addition to his herbal

protocol or is this separate? "

I found a recipe on publichealthalert.org (same place as 's article about

the Buhner updates) for the tea:

http://www.publichealthalert.org/Articles/scottforsgren/Lyme%20Tea.htm

To those who use it - am I correct that this tea is to be used INSTEAD of other

forms of dosing, and not, for example, in ADDITION to the handfuls of core

protocol herbs I am already taking?

Does Buhner consider the tea to be as effective as taking whole herb

pills/capsules? Does anyone use this for their treatment with success?

One of the books that I enjoyed the most in my Lyme journey was " Healing Lyme "

y Buhner. I also had the privilege of doing an article with Buhner

fter having met him at conferences a couple of times. He's a super human being

nd great healer.

I've personally had good results with various Buhner recommendations but have

elt that people find it difficult at times to find all of the things they may

eed to do a protocol based on his work. Thus, I wanted to mention a couple of

roducts based on the Buhner work that may make things a little easier as they

ombine many of his ideas into a comprehensive product. Though this may not be

he best option for everyone, it certainly brings some conveniences with it.

1) The first is Green Dragon Botanicals " LB Core " . It contains Japanese

notweed, Andrographis, Cat's Claw, Sarsaparilla, and Dandelion. They also have

liquid version for children and offer a number of single herbs that may be

uite helpful for people with tick-borne infections.

2) The second option is BioPure Quintessence. It contains Andrographis,

milax, Stephania, Japanese Knotweed, and Red Root in a liquid tincture. The

aste is a bit bitter due to the liquid Andrographis, but many people (myself

ncluded) have had good results with it.

3) The final option is the " Lyme Tea " prepared by , RH(AHG). I

logged about that option previously here.

Buhner always stresses that you need to use the whole herb, so for the basic

protocol bulk herbs should work better than extracts or teas (in general, an

extract retains more of the herb contents than a simple tea). There are a few

exceptions, e.g. for Eleuthero the extract is recommended.
