Guest guest
Hi Deb, Another name for lapacho tea is Pau D'Arco. It's an excellent tea for ridding the body of fungus/yeast and it has lots of other beneficial properties if one feels it is their medicine. I'm sure it can't hurt to drink it! It is also helpful used as a cold tea(or whatever temperature is right for the person) as a douche for vaginal yeast overgrowth. Peace and ease, yarrow > > I am reading s Moritz's book Timeless Secrets of Health and Rejuvenation. Guest guest
The Lapacho tea, is also known as Pau D Arco It has a pleasant taste in my opionion, and I like it at room temperature. I buy the sliced, it almost looks like it is shredded, and it is easy to steep. In general I steep my time about 7 minutes, then it seems strong enough. When I do it for less than 5 minutes, it is a bit weak. But it I forgot about it and let it steep over 20 minutes, it is to strong for me and my stomach lets me know I have messed up. 1stChineseHerbs.com
Guest guest
I'm not an expert, but i've read to simmer it at least 20 minutes. I've read that the active ingredient is very hard to release into active form, so to get the benefit you have at least simmmer at least 20 min. Selma used to post that she steeped it in alcohol for 6 weeks, turning or shaking every day. Raintree brand Pau d'arco drops have been both steeped in alcohol and simmered. ----purpleffoxglove ________________________________ From: Aries <bluemoonforme@...> Sent: Sat, June 5, 2010 8:13:00 PM Subject: Re: [ ] lapacho tea The Lapacho tea, is also known as Pau D Arco It has a pleasant taste in my opionion, and I like it at room temperature.
