Hi there,

I was checking the links for Buhner herbs but all of them seem to be in capsule

forms.Does anybody know where to acquire powderedversions or some other forms

that are moreeffective than just knotweed capsules?

Also I think the knotweeds I've seen hassome other plants in it?

you can buy bulk herbs from 1St Chinese Herbs. most people encapsulate them in

gelatin capsules, but you can also mix them with food (check past discussions on

the forum). Only the andrographis is too bitter for this, although I found it is

not a problem if you combine with coffee.

Powdered knotweed (bulk herb) shouldn't be very different from normal knotweed

pills. They both use powdered root product, but the pills have some extra

binders etc. and they are much more expensive.

some of the pills have extra resveratrol from grapes or other source. I don't

think the other plant is a problem, but Buhner thinks it is important to use the

whole herb and not just the resveratrol (one of the most important chemical

components in knotweed). Mixing in other plants means you get less knotweed ...

most people use the 25779P, this is for encapsulating.

if you plan to make decoctions etc. the cut and sift form is usually better.
