Guest guest
hi jurek, cut and sifted is NOT for filling capsules, only for teas, infusions, etc. prepared as teas, generally it would not be as potent as taking the capsules. regarding buying from shamanshop, i posted this info few months ago: i remember finding this source last summer. but i did not use it because if you look closely, the shipping costs are VERY expensive, especially compared with 1st chinese free ship over $40. see http://www.shamanshop.net/shipping.htm scroll down and see NO free shipping, no matter how much you buy: 1 lb $7.00 $20.00candadian $30 international 2 lbs $9.00 3 lbs $10.00 etc in addition, many of the herbs ship from different centers, so each has separate shipping costs and cannot be combined for savings in shipping! " Shamanshop uses multiple fulfillment centers: The fulfillment center is indicated by the letter at the end of each item name. Each product listing specifies that fulfillment center's shipping policies - and whether or not they ship internationally. There is a separate shipping charge for each fulfillment center. " so i think 1stchinese.com would be much cheaper? at least in the usa, not sure if you are in europe. still exploring, kendra -----Original Message----- From: [mailto: ]On Behalf Of djur1 shamanshop.net sells Plum Flower Brand resveratrol (search: hu zhang) in 3 forms: - 5:1 extract powder - cut & sifted - powdered I see that many of You say that Plum Flower Brand is good option, so my next part of resveratrol I would like to order there. I'm thinking about 'cut & sifted' Do You think 'cut & sifted' form is as potent as powdered form? Is 'cut & sifted' to make a tea ??? Unfortunately 1stchineseherbs doesn't send products to my country. So...I think about ordering 10x powdered resveratrol from shamanshop (the bigger order the lower shipping price of 1lb...) Do You think Plum Flower Brand resveratrol is the best brand for resveratrol? Jurek
Guest guest
Kendra, why cut/sifted is not potent as powder? Or you mean the standardized pills B recommends? I would think the opposite as powder conserves less time than cut/sifted. Djur, aren't you happy with your resveratrol you got? Have you tried the decoctions (you got to leave it boiling low fire for about 15-20 minutes). I found it very potent. Guest guest
Jurek, be careful when buying concentrates as they can contain additives that many lyme sufferers react against. If just powder, that's fine. How are you doing with your treatment? I just came back from S. Friday! Selma
Guest guest
I saw my doc earlier this week and have been meaning to share something; your questions, Jurek, brought it to mind again. She says that herbs taht are powdered lose 'some' of their potency in the process (heat and light). Also, there is no way to guarantee potency. However, since cost is an issue, she says its fine for me to continue using them that way. jo

I do decoctions. I started with 28g per day. Is it too much? (for egzample Mrs. S. said to take only 1 tablet of resv per day) I noticed good opinions about Plum Flower Brand, so I'm thinking about it. Kendra - could You explain more? Why is cut & sifted not as potent as powdered in your opinion? My treatment is ok, and how about You??? What Mrs. S said about your new infection? Take care, Jurek
Guest guest
Jurek, 28 grams. Wow. No, I take no more than 10 grams, I just weighed now. I think I take about 5-8 grams a day in decoction, even less sometimes. It's too strong for me otherwise. It doesn't " test " good if in high amounts. Glad to hear your treatment is going on fine. You'll probably need a change in about 2-3 weeks to get to another step, that's when you'll have to do your trials and errors by yourself. Maybe you could write to S to ask her if you get in trouble when you change ... My new infection is bad... Bartonella, babesia and borrelia are very active and blocking my organs and regulation. She said that before this infection, everything was low profile, not blocking me anymore, now it's like coming back a step again. I got problems in my gall bladder and GI tract. She didn't test me for mycoplasma. She said anyway it's not important because it's not the most active (the 3 others are the ones causing me problem for the moment). She also did a test for my heart rate to check my autonomic nervous system with her computer. It's a test to see if your ANS recognizes sleeping position and standing position. Last year, my body didn't recognize it. This time, it looked much better. This is an indication that things 'inside' are going on better, slowly, according to her. I'm on teasel tincture (my own, 10-15 drops), frozen garlic (3), sarsaparilla tincture (my own, 1 dropper), knotweed decoction (5-8 grams), artemisia annua decoction (1-2 tea spoons), PC-Noni (6-8 drops), bee polen (1-2 teaspoons), cistus incanus infusion (2 teaspoons), grapefruit seed extract (2), astragalus (2), raintree cats claw (2), Electrolytes, homeopathic (a tick soup), bitter herbs in powder, milk thistle (2), MSM (3 teaspoons), Omega 3 (2x), bear garlic (chlorella (about 2-3 teaspoons), Vit B complex, Vit. D, calcium, some other minerals like selenium zinc etc, cilantro to rub on, Farah's oil to rub on, some immune system drops from plants, a refrigerated product called Microflorana (similar to Proemsan), refrigerated bacteries, flaxseed oil, then the KMT programs 1, 2 and sometimes 6. I stopped artemisinin for the moment. I hope to lower the number of things I take in about 2 months or so, when this infection gets lowered, because it's a hell to take this all. Hope you'll feel a bit better soon. Keep us informed! How's the machine doing? I'm curious to know more about it. Tell us a bit. Does it have 4 electrodes and different programs?? Good luck, Selma
Guest guest
Hi Jurek: Yes, one pound is a pretty big bag. You can probably get 10 or more bottles of pills out of one bag. I have never counted exactly, how many pills, but that is 500 grams. And the MOST you will ever take is about 16 pills a day. The most I took was 12 pills a day. I take 6 pills a day of it now. So, yes, it lasts for a very long time. I think the most I would buy is maybe two bags of it. But like I said, I only buy one bag at a time. And make up the order with other herbs. Take care, Jim. ### Yes, You are right Jim 10x resveratrol seems to be too much. I didn't know that one pound last for so long. Jurek. Guest guest
Hi again Jurek In the beginning I bought the capsules, of the Resveratrol that Buhner recommends. But I couldn't afford buying them ready made, so I went to the powder, bulk form. When I went to the bulk form of powder, I went right to the Plum Flower brand. BUT at first for several months I used the 5:1 concentrate, which is expensive. A couple of months ago, I switched to the whole herb powder. Plum Flower Brand. I haven't " noticed " any difference, but that doesn't mean there isn't. The big thing I noticed is it cost me a lot less for the whole herb for what you get for the money. On Andrographis I use whole herb powder, Plum Flower also. Thanks, Jim. ### Jim! I would like to know: do You use normal powder or extract powder resveratrol? Is there big difference between them? And what about other people? Oh...and the same question about andrographis. Do You also use Plum Flower? and what form of herb? Please answer, Thank's Jurek

Guest guest
Jurek: I never got up to 4 times a day, so I only took 4 capsules for 3 times a day, for about 5.5 months. I am now at 3 capsules, 2 times a day. I always take my herbs with my meals. And I did NOT want to eat 4 meals a day. Jim. ### Thank You Jim, It's very helpful for me! Guest guest
I still got the same problem than you, but I take the tea from whole herb and then just lower the number of gulps each time. Taking lots at once gives me this GI problem... I'm using it together with chlorella/ MSM/ bear garlic/ Chitosan combo. I just take 3 gulps from a light JKnotw tea and so far it's working like that. I'm taking it about 4-5 times a day, exactly like I take other cleansers, not like B suggests and I find it's working sooo well that I'll continue doing this. I muscle tested it to see if it goes well combined, it tests wonderful. And my body craves this Jap Knotweed many times a day (more than 3-4 times B suggests), but always in lower amounts. Similar like Chlorella. Selma > > Ok, thank's for advices. > I can't use source naturals resveratrol, because I have diarhea even > from ONE TABLET daily !
