Only the andrographis is too bitter for this, although I found it is not a problem if you combine with coffee. Powdered knotweed (bulk herb) shouldn't be very different from normal knotweed pills. I don't think the other plant is a problem, but Buhner thinks it is important to use the whole herb and not just the resveratrol (one of the most important chemical components in knotweed). I wonder if you can eat it raw or if you have to dry it out. Are the leaves toxic? Maybe saute them up w/a little garlic! The Italian is coming out in me. I live in NE (CT), so maybe I can find some by lakes/rivers.
