Guest guest
< Has anyone used, and had success with Parastroy made by Nature's Secret. I just joined a few days ago. From what I understand it is best to get rid of parasites before doing a liver cleanse. I just bought Hulda s book today, but have had the Parastroy in my closet for a few weeks. I am hoping it works because I can't take it back. I suffer from fibromyagia, panic, anxiety, depression and chronic fatigue. >> *********************** Hi, Candy, Welcome to our forum discussion. We all learn a lot from each other, BTW. Well, yes, you're supposed to do a kidney and parasite cleanse before you do the liver/GB cleanse. However, those of us who have had horrible pain and problems from our gallbladders have found it necessary to go ahead and do the GB cleanse first. When you've been in pain that you think is going to kill you, then your mind kind of wants to get rid of this first. Personally I have never done the kidney cleanse. I do take certain herbs for the parasite, plus eat lots of garlic. I probably need to do the kidney cleanse, though. Oh, if Dale is around, have you done this cleanse, the kidney one? I'm just curious. So, Candy, if you are having intense pain, I totally recommend that you do the GB cleanse first, if the GB is your pain that you're having. It can cause many things. It can cause fatigue, all kinds of stuff because it has so much crap in it. I mean, the stuff that comes out just amazes me. It's sooooooooooo gross!!! And the only time that I have this totally gross mess coming out is during the GB cleanse. Never at another time. Hope this helps. Plus, you must change your diet. Guest guest
Hi Candy Welcome to our group. I ( at different times) have some of those emotional issues to. I never could distinguish if it was PMS, Sugar, or candida. Candida can cause wild mood swings. I would get anxiety, depression, and panic that was just internal, nothing chaotic. It was driven by sugar. ANd, of course, I have candida also. Guest guest
Hello, I'm new. I have what I believe to be a diminishing immune system and believe this allowed the yeast to get a hold of my system. So, I cut out yeast, seriously cut back on sugar (to the point that after only 2 weeks most things taste too sweet now) and have been following, in general a modified diet. I added acidophilus and garlic supplements to my diet. I also have been taking antibiotics for a strep infection in my throat and foot. I also got what I believe to be oral thrush, a vaginal yeast infection and athlete's foot (which allowed the impetigo to get hold of my foot). I've been treating the yeast infections with anti-fungals (and will continue through the duration of my antibiotics course). Is it possible that after just 2 weeks I would notice a significant improvement? I suddenly had a lot of energy, felt cheerful and saw rapid improvement in all yeast infection symptoms. Also, while putting together easter baskets for my kids I ate a handful of jelly beans (and forgot my supplements until the evening), and this morning I have lost my voice and have a sore throat (no spots or white coating on tongue) -- is it possible that dose of sugar is responsible, or have I just managed to get a common cold on top of everything else?. Today I'm lethargic and just feel gross, in general. -- Thea Mann " We are the people who run this country. We are the deciders. Guest guest
First, the antibiotics will cause growth of the yeast. I suspect the sugar in the jelly beans is the cause for the sore throat. Usually if I ate some sugar or too many carbs I would get a bad case of oral thrush, but sometimes I'd just get the sore throat. I've had bad cases of oral thrush where it was also in my throat. Guest guest
Thea, sugar ( jelly beans, also coffee) is one of the worst things for your immune system. Your body is fighting a lot of things right now and so you DON'T want to weaken it more by feeding it sugar. Just one teaspoon of sugar can knock down your immune system severely in your situation. I can't stress that enough. Sugar is this countries greatest slow poison and should be ILLEGAL. Steph
Guest guest
Thea, a good thing for impetigo are the pre-made charcoal patches. Also I used an ultra violet ray device with the patches and got rid of it completely in less than two weeks without any antibiotics what so ever. I did use a Q-tip though with some peroxide after the severity of pain and itching got better which speeds up the process as well. Ultra voilet ray devices are excellent for bee stings and external infections. I am so glad I have one and wouldn't give it up for anyting in an emergency. Also the charoal patches are handy and easy to use for pain and for drawing out infections externally. Steph
Guest guest
Thank you! Staying away from coffee hasn't been hard, but I have allowed myself a cup a day. I know caffeine is bad, but I use it to treat my ADD rather than ritalin. I'm nearly done with the antibiotics (and will present a stronger argument against yeast to my doctor) and am still using the OTC antifungals for the other yeast with good results. I feel sorry for my husband -- he's working his job as well as working my job -- we own a small coffee shop. You will be so happy you did. > > I have a symptom from B vits w/yeast and brewer's yeast that gives me disorientation at night that is very extreme, so I was scared to try my new Country Life no soy, yeast, etc b. I took it anyway last night and got the symptoms again. I have now re-read the bottle and am seeing Inositol and PABA and choline. Maybe those are causing the problem. I will look on your website and try to order a b online, a brand that others are recommending. Thank you very much for all of your time and > your caring!! ==>Inositol, PABA and choline are also B vitamins so they would not have caused any problems. I believe Country Life are very cheap vitamins so it would be better to buy a higher quality. I use Natural Factors brand. ==>I caution you not to attribute your symptoms to B vitamins because IF they are needed most by your body they may create healing symptoms. You should also take B vitamins with complete meals, and not take them too close to bedtime - take your doses at breakfast and lunch instead. Also ensure you buy a separate niacin supplement (B3) IF your B vitamins contain synthetic niacin, called niacinamide. Also do not buy non-flushing niacin. Guest guest
> > Hi Bee, > > I am a newbie on week 2 of the diet. Still working on getting my fats up and for my supps to arrive, but otherwise following the diet pretty closely. I have adrenal fatigue, Hashimotos, fatigue, and my main problem is undiagnosable severe achy/stiff joints and muscles, although I will say that for the past few days my serious neck stiffness is much better! > > Question: I am low in iron and not a fan of organ meats. Do you still recommend I do not use iron supps? I do eat red meat, but this has not helped in the past...perhaps because of my digestion issues with candida? +++Hi Chris. I don't believe you " have to take " anything other than following this program for your body to level out all of its nutrients. One member of this group was on this program for 6 months, and didn't take any iron supplements or eat extra liver, etc. She happened to have blood tests done, that showed that her iron levels went from #4 (before the program) to #64. Red meat contains iron and it is very important, along with eggs, since iron requires enough " true " B12 from them in order to be absorbed and utilized. If digestion is poor the person wouldn't have been able to absorb B12 like they should. You should be doing what you can to improve your digestion - see that section in How to Successfully Overcome Candida. If you are concerned you can take dessicated liver tablets or make your own frozen liver pills - recipe is on my website. All the best, Bee
Guest guest
I am having a hard time figuring out what to order. I need to treat myself and my two teenagers - abx didn't work for any of us. Maybe the added complication of corn and soy allergy could have hindered the effectiveness of the abx or it could be because we had gone undiagnosed for so long. Anyway, I need to start with the most cost effective treatment possible and looking to increase and/or add as finances allow. My biggest fear is ordering $100 worth of herbs and having them contaminated with corn additives (all conventional Rx and OTC meds contain them) rendering them useless to us. Is there anyone here with a corn allergy that could advise me? Also, is there anyone here with a severely limited budget trying to treat three family members at the same time? I started looking at 1st Chinese Herbs, but they give remarkably little information about the products so I can't imagine how anyone can be sure they are ordering the right thing. I am assuming that making capsules from Andrographis because of the bitterness and taking with food all the others would be cheapest. Am I wrong? Guest guest
> > Anyway, I need to start with the most cost effective treatment possible and looking to increase and/or add as finances allow. using bulk herbs from 1st chinese is probaby the cheapest option. there are a few other suppliers for bulk herbs but I haven't tried them (because they don't ship to Europe or shipping is too expensive). > My biggest fear is ordering $100 worth of herbs and having them contaminated with corn additives (all conventional Rx and OTC meds contain them) rendering them useless to us. bulk herbs do not contain such additives; maybe the concentrated powders contain something extra. But those are more expensive, so why bother? Just choose the basic herb powder. > I started looking at 1st Chinese Herbs, but they give remarkably little information about the products so I can't imagine how anyone can be sure they are ordering the right thing. If you are confused just send an email; I always got helpful replies from at 1St Chinese, and AFAIK others are also very happy with their service. > I am assuming that making capsules from Andrographis because of the bitterness and taking with food all the others would be cheapest. Am I wrong? correct, that is the cheapest option. However, mixing with food is not so easy, you need to experiment what works. And it can be a lot of trouble to keep adding the right dose with every meal etc. - I think for most of us it is easier to make some stock of capsules and be done with that for a week or so.
