Guest guest
Madeleine, Which chelator did you use? Jay [ ] Re: Mercury removal Dear Jay, I had three amalgams removed by my regular, non-mercury savvy dentist, whom I like... and it overloaded my body with mercury to the point where I was barely functional mentally. He still isn't sure he believes that it was the amalgams that did it, but he doesn't insert amalgams in any of his patients, either. My experience doesn't mean you would be as sensitive to the overload as I was or that your symptoms are easily apparent. You still got a huge dose of mercury that so far your body hasn't given you big clues about. At some point, it may. Best get yourself chelated and remove the mercury now before it causes problems. Removal of the rest of my amalgams was done by an IOAMT dentist and the experience was much different and much, much better. Just my experience and my two cents worth... Guest guest
I've been using DSMA for over two years now, and it has been a life saver. Yes it will increase symptoms, but that is because it removes mercury so readily that it increases the HERX. I have at times taken my Buhner herbs at the same time, and then I get HERX all over. But at my stage it does not bother me. I was very mercury toxic when I first got Lymes, and had for years had digestive or angina like pains I could not explain. Now when I have these rare pains the DMSA takes them away in minutes. The only bad about DMSA is that it does remove some minerals, so you have to supplement heavily. This can of course make it difficult if you have bad knees that are trying to repair. But I take a lower dose than recommended. I found out that it you are always killing off bacteria you don't need a large dose as the mercury gets mobilized and ends up in the liver. DMSA takes out the mercury quickly even at a low dose. BUT you do need to get all your amalgam fillings removed before you go into this a full tilt. I did ok with my regular dentist doing the removal, but I only removed one a month, and he used the super suction and a rubber dam in the process. If you are super sensitive to mercury then you need to find a dentist that knows the safer method. Rick _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Jay A.
