Guest guest
I was bitten by a Lyme tick Feb 1 and have taken 6 weeks of doxy, and am on the Buhner protocol. CD-57 was 117 mid March. A friend just pointed me to Buhner's (NEW?} protocol on his website substituting Eutherococcus for Andrographis. Nobody on this site has mentioned this though my intent on joining the listserve was just to hear about the protocol. Is this the wrong listserve ? Does anyone know why Buhner has changed this? thanks,

If you want info on the protocol you MUST read the book. this newsgroup is NOT meant for full instructions, it is to exchange experiences with the Buhner protocol. > Does anyone know why Buhner has changed this? you can go to the PlanetHealth pages that are regularly listed in this group. There Buhner explains how his preference for the herbs has shifted. There is NOT a complete change in the protocol. But due to adverse reactions in a small number of people to andrographis, and favorable experience with Eleuthero, he now has another list of the major three herbs. All of these herbs and their use are described in the book. None of them is new or suddenly deleted, it is just the preference that has changed. Depending on your symptoms and situation you may need other herbs/supplements than the standard three, probably most people use more that just the core Buhner protocol.
