Guest guest
be careful with H202. i once had a practitioner administer the drip wrong (a 45 min drip in 10 minutes) and developed a suicidal depression for 3 months. probably the worst experience in my entire life. the assistant was fired because of it. i think it caused real damage to my brain. massive oxidation? i will never touch the stuff again. Guest guest
Actually one of the most powerful oxidizers known, stronger than chlorine. It can kill biologically active tissue. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_peroxide 3% H2O2 is used medically for cleaning wounds, removing dead tissue, and as an oral debriding agent. Peroxide stops slow (small vessel) wound bleeding/oozing, as well. However, recent studies have suggested that hydrogen peroxide impedes scarless healing as it destroys newly formed skin cells.[20] Most over-the-counter peroxide solutions are not suitable for ingestion. > [ ] OT:Re: H2O2 > > > > > > > > Oxygen can kill viruses and > > bacteria. Guest guest
From the same article, it states: Therapeutic use Hydrogen peroxide is /generally recognized as safe <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generally_recognized_as_safe>/ (GRAS) as an antimicrobial agent <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antimicrobial_agent>, an oxidizing agent and for other purposes by the FDA.^[29] <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_peroxide#cite_note-28> Hydrogen peroxide has been used as an antiseptic <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antiseptic> and anti-bacterial agent for many years due to its oxidizing effect. While its use has decreased in recent years with the popularity of readily available over the counter products, it is still used by many hospitals, doctors and dentists. end of quote. Obviously, there is a big difference depending on how and why you take it. ~Mimi www.iammimi.com wrote: > Actually one of the most powerful oxidizers known, stronger than chlorine. > It can kill biologically active tissue. > > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_peroxide > <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_peroxide> > > 3% H2O2 is used medically for cleaning wounds, removing dead tissue, > and as > an oral debriding agent. Guest guest
I remember a time when I drank oxygenated water for a week and the psoriasis patches on my knees, elbows and next to my ears disappeared - Robin [ ] OT:Re: H2O2 Just remembered....the oxygen guy's name is Ed McCabe. Might be a familiar name to you. If you oxygenate water with H2O2 or other means, most of the 'danger' disappears pretty soon (within minutes), depending on concentration of course. I guess most people know what happens when you use a peroxide mouth wash: check the concentration, don't keep it in your mouth too long, and definitely don't swallow it.
