Guest guest
Hi Diane, She had no problems on the herbs. I do think Tim meant you need to take 3 capsules to get the full dose of herbs you mentioned in your previous post. Also, you'll need to work yourself up to 12 capsules 4 x/day (not 12 capsules/day). My daughter is 11 yrs old and had no problems at all, she was taking 9 capsules 3x/day (she weighs 85 lbs). She recently had to stop taking the herbs, it had nothing to do with any problems from them. (I'm keeping them on hand in case she suddenly takes a turn for the worse.) It's always suggested you start gradually. You could either start by taking the herbs individually and once you're on all of them, then you could take the combination, or you can do the reverse, take the combination and if any reactions occur, then take them individually so you can figure out which one is the problem... Others in this group have much more experience than I do with this. You really should also read the book Healing Lyme by Buhner so you can better understand what you're doing. I've been weaning my daughter off the herbs after 3 good months. Her pediatrician wants her to try stopping all treatments (acupuncture, massage) and herbs for the summer so she can forget she's a patient for a while and see if she feels better. I'm pretty wary and discouraged at this point, but we'll see. Good luck and good health to you, Aviva On Jun 16, 2010, at 10:01 PM, di2hike wrote: > Hi there, > I just ordered the same product from Green Dragon Botanicals, he > said he has been working closely with ? Also, you'll need to work yourself up to 12 capsules 4 > x/day (not 12 capsules/day). the dosage information from this and the other post is conflicting indeed. If the pills really have nearly 2 gram herbs content, taking 12 per day would be sufficient. But 2 gram is huge for a pill; that sounds very unlikely, normal pill size is 500 mg - and at that size 4x 12 capsules would be more like the correct dose.
