Hi all

ok so Im (sorta) used to the heart skips and dead stop pauses; and Im sorta used

to the periods of vertigo, but extremely relieved when they dont linger past 3-4

hrs. BUT this jump out of my skin, scared to almost panic attack jittery nerves

anxiety has me EXHAUSTED and losing more weight than I can afford.

It goes beyond the dysautonomia of runs of high heart rate then drops then

severely raised blood pressure---which also burns the weight...that adrenaline

over compensation I recognize and bear..

but added to this horrid mix is being perimenopausal which for many also plays

havoc with brain chemistry...

I cant tolerate ANY of the usual meds as they worsen the dysauto as they wear

off. everything from Valium to Librium...I used to be able to do 1/8 tab serax

as it has NO active breakdown products...the darn compnay sold out and the new

manufacturer only does caps in a much higher dose and they cant be opened and

re-dosed like I often do..as they cant guarantee an even compounding. So far

every antidepressant used for anxiety/panic ( including Buspar, Paxil, etc etc)

also makes the dysauto waves worse until I am passing out or nearly so, almost

contsantly--a dreadfull feeling...NOT a happy trade off indeed.

So, if any of you have had ANYthing help " nerves " , etc please chime

in.Homeopathically, herbally...but it has to have NO interactions with Suprax or

the Buhner protocol.

I know this is due to the Lyme setback as my whole crappy " adventure " started

with Drs thinking I needed psych and I was mis dx as " post partum depression "

and " panic syndrome " for more than 6 months until I literally grabbed the shrink

by his neck and demanded to see HIS own personal doc...well bless the Drs' heart

as it was he who finally dx me with Lyme!!! and funny thing ( ok NOT really

funny) is that once my Lyme came under control and I while I was in remission

for 4 yrs...NO panic, NO anxiety no " nerves " etc.

and each time I flare with Lyme this stuff becomes inbearable...definitely

affecting my brain chemistry. tKnowing this makes it a bit easier to try to

float the waves and I do relaxation breathing and tapes which marginally

help...as in barely help get me thru the hours..sitting in tears hoping the

" dying " feeling is my chemicals and not a real warning that I should hightail it

to the ER...again.

But I am exhausted...I need relief...any suggestions greatfully accepted.

(as Im a bit better this a.m. Ill try to check the Buhner site for those its

easier to post rather than email me....and for those emailing me THANKS)

be well

Finette

Hi Finette, I would take more Eleuthero (really helps anxiety) and for

the heart probs a hefty dose of Japanese CoEnzyme Q10. This may sound

basic but it works for me. All Best Wishes, Muriel

Dear Finette,

Just a thought--you could try some B vitamins, with extra B 1, and some Vit.

C. These help with mental situations quite a bit.

Love,

Cass A
