Jap knotwood grows by waterways and is a plague in some areas. In the UK.

Leicester council spent £30000 to get ridd off it. In London where they are

building a stadium it has so invaded the ground that it takes a fortune to

remove.. Ofcourse that will be pretty contaminated knotweed.

I havent seen it where I live yet.

That keeps reminding me what Buhner says: that healing plants

will 'go'/ grow where people/animals need them !

I dug out a Japanese knotweed root; it was a big, chunky hunk like an underground

tree root/stem.  I also watched voles gently and purposefully harvesting the

young knotweed leaves, cutting and slicing neatly, to carry off.

I am just starting to use the protocol and noticed that the Source Naturals

Resveratrol recommended by Dr. Buhner does not contain the whole herb as he says

in the book - it is now from root extract -I assume they have change the formula

since he wrote the book. He indicates that it is important to have the whole

plant. Does anyone know a source for tablets/capsules that contain the whole

plant and meet his criteria? I don't mind making my own capsules (am doing that

with the Cat's Claw) - would that be the best? Thank you for any enlightenment

on this.

doesn't he?

yes, it depends on what 'extract' means. I guess the procedure is not much

different from that for making the bulk herb, probably just cleaning and

grinding up the root (assuming they don't use alcohol extraction etc. because

that is more expensive - that would likely influence the composition).
