I just quickly read it. He's changed the protocol a little bit from the book.

You'll find it on page five on this site.

No I haven't found it either. The person that mentioned it was on the

'California Lyme Group'. They even said they don't think it's made the internet

yet.

Hmmm...

I think his " new " protocol is just that he's changed his order of importance...

1) Japanese Knotweed

2) Cats Claw

3) Eleutheroccocus (aka Siberian Ginseng)

4) Astragalus (not to be used in chronic cases)

5) Andrographis

6) Sarsparilla

He also put this as his protocol::

1. Support collagen structures so that damage to the body systems ceases;

2. Enhance immune function so that the body can deal with the organism itself;

3. Shut down the inflammatory pathways the spirochetes initiate, especially in

the CNS;

4. Treat symptoms;

5. And only then, try and kill the spirochete

Yes, but isn't Japanese Knotweed a Spirochete killer? If so, wouldn't it be

further down on the list?

Knotweed enhances the immune systems ability to kill spirochetes.

Cats Claw is really the only attacking agent Buhner recommends.

His main point is... clear up some symptoms... repair the body... then start

attacking. It makes detoxing easier and thus, herxheimers less severe.

Just Do It

There was an article about Buhner entitled " From a Source of Profound Insight

April 2010 issue of Public Health Alert on the first page.

Copying this from another website

Just got off the phone with this website...

http://www.greendragonbotanicals.com/

Buhner works directly with them and recommends them (even more-so than

source-naturals)

Only reason Buhner recommends source naturals is because when he wrote his book

they were the only company using the whole plant (japanese knotweed)

Now for the exciting news...

They have a Buhner Core Protocol Product (360 capsules for $50) that combines

japanese knotweed, Andrographis, cats claw, sarsaparilla(detox/lymph), and

dandelion.

The guy on the phone takes it and was telling me a lot of people use it in

conjunction with abx's.

Just giving you Buhner-Users a headsup. This sounds much easier to

manage/take/find and is much cheaper.

sure sounds easier, but I guess more expensive than bulk herbs.

does anyone know what this costs (e.g. per month) for full Buhner protocol

dosage?

Just a thought... I might be misremembering, but isn't the idea to start one

herb at a time and titrate up until you find the right dose? Seems to me taking

all at once in a specific ratio misses this point. Also some you want to take

in capsules, some tincture.

Just my two cents.

My daughter has been taking the Green Dragon Botanicals LB(load

bearing) Core Protocol # 336 capsules /bottle.

For an adult the dose would be 12 caps 4x/day (48/day total), so 1

bottle would last 7 days. I've been paying 55$(US)( plus shipping)

per bottle from Watercourse Way in Vermont. It is much more expensive

than bulk herbs, but comparable to taking them individually in

capsule/tablet form, but infinitely more convenient if you want a bit

of a break from managing all your supplements. From Steel's

post, it looks like I've been overpaying by 5$/bottle. Oh well...

that works out at about $ 250 per month, about 5/10x more expensive than bulk

herbs ... Convenience has a price.

Hi there,

I just ordered the same product from Green Dragon Botanicals, he said he has

been working closely with ? How is your daughter doing on the herbs? Im

a bit worried about having an allergic reaction being they are all combined and

I wont know which one will have caused it. Any insight you have would be great.

Thanks,

Diane
