Guest guest
Muriel, where are you? My dentists are in Switzerland... I guess what you need is a biological dentist, who knows about cavitations. It took me a year to decide to pull these canal root teeth out because I was not sure of the procedure and because of high price. I think a Cavitat machine can help finding cavitations, but my dentist and doctor didn't use it. Some people in lymenet have, you can do a search there. In my case, they only used x-rays and energetic testing to get the mushy parts off (cavitations in the jawbone). The pulling was fast, the 'scrapping'/ 'drilling' took about 15-20 minutes in each root 'hole'. How do you know your roots are infected? I knew one tooth had certainly cavitation or infection, but I didn't know the other teeth of mine had something as I felt nothing there. Most people don't feel anything under old canal roots... You could also try lymenet to search for a good biological dentist in your area, lots of people there that have done and are doing the teeth/ jaw cleansing. It's a tricky job, better read a lot before doing it as some people fall very sick after doing it (because it can stirr bacteries, it can cause bad infection, the cavitation can still be there after the procedure if not done right, it can cause relapse of lyme symptoms etc). My decade old dull pain in my jaw is gone since surgery, they found awful things under these canal roots. I fortunately had no problem at all so far. I think I still have some infection in one of the 'ex- roots' though, but I feel nothing (it's only ART that says so)... good luck! Selma > > Selma, I thoroughly enjoyed your post. Guest guest
Hi Selma, I,m very grateful for your message. Thank you so much!!! I've had Lyme since 1998, initially untreated because of denial from my insurance company[!!!] (6 negative tests). Over the next 4 years I had 3 positive PCR tests (both blood and urine) and by that time was very sick. Antibiotics at that point did nothing. After 3+ years of daily IV Doxy, then Azithromycin, I just continued getting worse. I spent 3 years in bed (2003-early 2006), incoherent and not able to leave the room except to go to the doctor. I live in Pennsylvania, about an hour from Philadelphia and near Wilmington, DE. Then I found a LLMD in North Jersey, who put me on Tindamax (for Babesia), plus more Doxy. I gradually started to get better, got up and began to function a bit, thanks to pain management. THEN (!!!) this past February it was discovered that I'd had a root canal in my 1st upper left molar in 2005 that had been left with the temporary packing and never completed. I went in and the Dentist (who is excellent, but only mainstream), put a titanium rod, repacked it, had to trim my gum, and got it ready for the permanent cap. Within 24 hours I had a relapse and was desperately sick. I was in bed again for 3 1/2 months+. I have not yet gotten over this severe setback. My LLMD in NJ does muscle testing and some kind of " Acupuncture tapping " (he also does acupuncture), told me that this root canal is infected and the other one I have is, as well. He worked on them, and then this past week, he worked on them again, plus found a big problem with my hypo/thal axis (I'd been telling all the Doctors that this was suppressed, plus my thyroid, for years) plus thyroid, with virus and bacteria. He worked on them again. After this visit, I felt better for about 5 days before I began to slip again. I'm taking Tindamax, the Buhner herbs and doing the Rife machine as well. I am also taking Diflucan and eating an extremely low carb diet. I still fear that these root canals will have to come out if I am to get well. What do you think? Again, I am Very Grateful for your message, interest and time! All Best Wishes, Muriel Pippin PS I've been sick 10+ years, my life is in shambles, our wonderful business is gone, and I can't pay my mortgage, nor my other bills. I'm sure this is a familiar story to you! [ ] Re: Muriel : Dentist Muriel, where are you? My dentists are in Switzerland... I guess what you need is a biological dentist, who knows about cavitations. Guest guest
HAS she had any GOOD Lyme tests? I just had the test and I have had Lyme for over 7 years, and it still showed negative. IT is a joke. Guest guest
Dear Muriel, interesting post of yours! Sorry to hear you've been sick for sooo long, more than 10 years. And what an awful story, to be 3 years bed ridden. But nice to see that you found good practioners that are helping you. It does look that they missed babesia first time. Babesia has to go first (or one of the first) to see any improvements, that seems to be a rule. How does it test now (still got babesia or are you done with it?). Babesia and bartonela are two critters that seem to influence strongly jaw/ root canal health. Many people with babs/ bart report either tooth pain, root pain, and have root/ jaw infections. I would never put an implant while still having lyme. Never. I'd rather be looking weird with removable protesis (semi-protesis) than risking getting sick again because of teeth. Titanium is also a bad material, I mean, some people get allergies, lyme sufferers are very prone to develop multiple allergies, so no, it wouldn't be my choice. It seems there's a new technology with Zirconium oxyde rods (sp?), 100% metal-free, it's done here in Germany, but I don't know if you can find it in the US. Anyway, going into jawbone scrapping/ drilling and not clearing infection there will usually spread infection all over the body. Many people (lyme sufferers) react like you. I've read that over and over, that's why I was so scared of doing the cavitation cleanse (taking the mushy parts off, drilling the bones, I'm not sure how to describe it). For me it was fine. I only trust energetic methods to find where bacteries are still hiding. The naked eye, X-rays, they get almost nothing from where you get bone bacteries and cavitations. Maybe the Cavitat machine gets, but it's still not 3D, if I understood well, so... I would still trust energetic testing from a good practioner. My doctor did that cleansing side by side with the surgeon, it was an amazing experience, I was very moved by what he has done to me. He checked and re-checked again and again to see if there was still something there, the surgeon kept drilling. How does your LLMD 'work' on your teeth? So far, when a cavitation is there, I never heard of any treatment that will ever remove it for good, except the drilling/ scooping/ taking off the deceased bone. Both my teeth are not testing cavitations now (before they were). My decade old dull pain under one of the teeth is also gone. Gee, when I read about all these infections you got, that scares me a bit. Have you seen the warning about Tindamax? http://www.fda.gov/cder/consumerinfo/druginfo/tindamax.HTM Hope you don't need that for too long. Does it get borrelia? Are you sure you're not overkilling? You're doing quite lots of things to kill, are you cleansing enough? > I still fear that these root canals will have to come out if I am to get > well. What do you think? If they test so, I would take them off. If not, you could wait. I'm waiting to treat the front ones (they don't test bad still). The only reason I wait is financial. So sorry to hear you're whole story. I've been sick only for 2 years, it's been already hell, I can't imagine 10 years going through this all. I would just say that before lyme I was sckeptical (sp?) about energetic testing, muscle test, EAV etc. Now I am a believer, it's not a 100% thing to trust, but it does give you guidelines, it shows a direction for treating, it makes what we do look less alleatory and having a purpose, we see improvements better... Etc. Specially in such complicate diseases like lyme is. For the teeth, I really start to trust these energetic testing. The only problem is that most lyme sufferers are 'blocked' and we certainly need good practioners who know how to unblock us and work with muscle tests. Take care, and please post about your teeth/ jaw process, because I think this is so important for most of us, lyme sufferers. Do you still have amalgams? I hope not. Guest guest
HI Jim, thanks for your question. Yes, I have had many Western Blots and lots of PCR testing. Most of the Western Blots came in with 3-4 specific bands, but one, after I was given immuno-globulin, came in with 8 bands. I've had 3 positive PCR tests - 2 Blood and one Urine. Any suggestions? Thanks, Muriel RE: [ ] Muriel : Dentist HAS she had any GOOD Lyme tests? I just had the test and I have had Lyme for over 7 years, and it still showed negative. IT is a joke. Only not funny. Guest guest
For Selma! Thank you so much for your message!!! It means a great deal to be in contact with people who care, are experiencing the same disease(s), and who are willing to give their time, even when they don't feel well. Look below for the *****. I'm going to write in between the lines.... [ ] Re: Muriel : Dentist Dear Muriel, interesting post of yours! Sorry to hear you've been sick for sooo long, more than 10 years. And what an awful story, to be 3 years bed ridden. ****During those years, I hardly knew who or where I was. But nice to see that you found good practioners that are helping you. It does look that they missed babesia first time. *****Yes, it wasn't until I went to a LLMD in Northern NJ, where they have longer experience with Lyme/co-infections, that I was diagnosed with Babesia. And...I had been sweating profusely for years. *****He does muscle testing and I still test positive for Babesia. I am worried about taking Tindamax, as I've been on it for over a year. It took me a year to build up to 3 250mg tablets/day, I had such powerful herxes. ******I thought I had an infection in my tooth because I became so sick for so long after it was worked on in February. My Lyme Doctor found the infection with the testing, and also found an infection in the only other root canal I have, (which he didn't even know about!). It seems there's a new technology with Zirconium oxyde rods (sp?), 100% metal-free, it's done here in Germany, but I don't know if you can find it in the US. *****I just want both those teeth Out, and the cavitations scraped properly, and then to have a tooth " clip " or prosthesis. But there are no holistic dentists/surgeons here, and I have no money (sick too long, savings all gone). Anyway, going into jawbone scrapping/ drilling and not clearing infection there will usually spread infection all over the body. Many people (lyme sufferers) react like you. My decade old dull pain under one of the teeth is also gone. ******I'm very happy for you!!!!! Gee, when I read about all these infections you got, that scares me a bit. ****Me too!!!! It makes me very nervous, but the Babesia is difficult to eradicate. Hope you don't need that for too long. Does it get borrelia? ****My guess is " no " , because Babesia is a protozoa, and Borellia is a Spirochete. Are you sure you're not overkilling? You're doing quite lots of things to kill, are you cleansing enough? ****Good point.I drink lemon water all day, went on a month cleansing program, eat lots of naturally fermented foods that we make, take probiotics.
