Guest guest
I am a big believer in Homeopathy. It was a life saver for my son. We tried everything for him from conventional to natural. We were very frightened. After more than of year of desperately seeking someone who could help him, we found our homeopath. What a blessing. The biggest problem with homeopathy is that for a chronic serious illness, you have to find someone who really knows what they are doing. Personally, I think a good homeopath is extremely hard to find. (That's true with any type of doctor). We live in Portland and were quite lucky to find a homeopathic physician. From my very limited experience many (not all) of the best homeopaths in the world did go to medical school as my doctor had. Though she has the training & other options, she will only prescribe homeopathic remedies.
Guest guest
Hi, Homeopathy was really life saving for my youngest son too. His journey into lyme was filled with seizures, tourettes, and bipolar. We tried everythign and thought we were losing him. We were fortunate enough to hook up with a homeopath that was lecturing in our state. We met at a hotel and he did an evaluation. We didn't know at the time that he really had neurolyme, but as someone stated already in homeopathy it doesn't matter. The homeopathist put him on a single remedy. It took several weeks for us to see a lessening of symptoms. At times it was horrifically frustrating because we were in total crisis mode and our doctor kept telling us to hold steady and not change anything. It was hard because at that time he was violent. Although it is now several years later, I am happy to report that our child is seizure, tourettes, and bipolar free. He is not lyme free, but it is a major improvement. Bartonella was the culprit. We are now using some series remedies from deseret. We are having good success with that. I also agree that it is very hard to find a good homeopath. Many practitioners hang out an dshingle and just dabble in it. The person we saw was actually the head of a new england homeopathic college so we knew he knew what he was doing. As a warning though, we did use a homeopath before this other doctor and we had disastrous results. Just check out your doc carefully. Good Luck, Peggy
