Guest guest
Hi Yarrow, I am honestly humbled by your response. I am so happy to help. I know that panic feeling all too well. Ironically I was having trouble breathing when I was writing you this morning. I pushed my treatment too hard and my adrenals tanked. If nothing else I am learning to control my response to these reactions. Before I forget(and i will), I find bioplasma to be really helpful particularly when I am herxing or weak. It is a combination of homeopathic cell salts. It is really adaptogenic. I do use elyte ocassionally, but I don't like them very much either. I use the ones from biopure. Dr. K. just put out an electrolyte " recipe " . It uses trisalts, electrolytes, minerals, restructured water, and coconut water to help rehydrate. If you are getting too much electrolytes the fronts of your shins will become puffy. Electrolytes are the spark that will power your body. Try them again in water. I know they don't taste too lovely, but they are necessary. You can try mixing half the amount of electrolytes with half the amount of the ultima replenisher. It is a stevia sweetened electrolyte drink. It comes in several flavors. I think iherb or vitacost carries them. The replenisher will mask the electrolyte taste. I add just a little more stevia to sweeten it. I would not recommend the ultima replenisher as the only electrolyte source. The biopure is far better. Pay particular attention to diet. I believe that your diet is clean, but if you are eating foods that you are reacting to your symptoms can increase. Again a zyto or Asyra scan can help you figure things out. Try to rotate foods( a huge pain) if you can. Also keep track of your PH. When infection flares or I am herxing, my PH is the first to go. It is my early radar warning system. I use alkabase to help correct it. I find that lemon in water helps too, but when it is beginning to nose dive I need some sort of bicarb. Acupuncture may be a really great option as well. It can help rebuild your foundation. As for the hypothalamus remedy I use Hypothalmapath by energetix. I also use their field of flowers remedy. It is a combination of 27 flower remedies. I take it and then EFT. I figure that at least one of the 27 has to be a good match for me :-) I also just ordered Tranquil oil blend from young living. I became a distributor so i can get a better price on the oils. They do tend to be expensive. As a result I got to listen to a phone conference last night. The speaker said that tranquil is wonderful for parasympathetic overdrive. It helps to calm the pituitary. Lyme patients always have hypothalamus pituitary dysfunction. Since my dysautonomia leaves me in a chronic hyper parasympathetic state, I am really looking forward to trying it. Yarrow, always remember that there are several ways to skin a cat( my apologies to my cat for that reference) Be patient with yourself. You are on a path to wellness. It may take longer than you would like, but you will get there. Have a great night. Peggy > > Dear Peggy, > > I'm leaving your whole post here because I love it all! I can add them to soups and maybe a bit in a cup of tea but i have a hard time taking very much of them because of how salty they are. > > Someone (maybe Selma a while back) said that if you are dehydrated you need electrolytes with your water. > > Peace and gratitude, > yarrow >
