Lyme has been around for over a hundred years and probably much longer. It is

not a new germ invented for warfare, I have seen no credible evidence for that

suggestion. If so, the DNA sequences of the different Borrelia species would

show this recent origin sooner or later. However, the record up to now shows

that there are many different Bb sl species that all cause Lyme (although with

some variations in target organs etc.).

There are also suggestions floating around that the Plum lab crossed Borrelia

and a mycoplasma, which is genetically/biochemically nonsense, simply not

possible. At most they selected a very virulent strain (in the 60/70's genetic

engineering was not yet possible).

Maybe the sloppy housekeeping at the lab contributed to the local outbreak of

Lyme disease in the early seventies, but it sure is not the only source - Lyme

cases occured in Europe long before that.

There is no solid explanation for the rise in number of lyme victims yet, but

IMHO the huge environmental changes of the last generations

(agriculture/ecology, climate change, antibiotics, etc.) and a deterioration of

our immune systems (toxins, radiation, bad food, etc.), making us more

vulnerable to germs like Bb.

It is unlikely that anyone except those that worked at the US gov germ labs on

Plum Island and at fort Detrict would know exactly what their capabilitiy was at

any time period ever. For someone to make a blanket speculation about what was

possible or not witout being inside is naive. If you were inside you probably

ai'nt talkin or if you are you won't be for long. The Plum Island and Fort

Detrict people worked hand and glove on germ warfare. The possibilities of their

research are limitless. The problem is they are warfare based. Think not curing

a disease but using one as a weapon. Common sence would dictate that they would

have an antidote for what ever they do. GW Bush is rumored to have Lyme. He is

not looking so great so kiss your antidote goodby. Reagan the pioneer brush

cutting president that GWB tryed so hard to emulate lost his mind to alzheimers

or was it advanced Lyme. It would be the ultimate in irony if these 2 most

supreme government insiders were impaired by runaway programs they supported.
