I have used homeopathy here and there, and I feel it works about the

same as all the treatments. No matter what you choose, it takes years,

and gobs of various treatments to figure out your return to health. We

are doing it without antibiotics, so they are not necessary for

everyone. I think you just have to put a lot of effort into it, and the

more the do, the better. For example, changing diet, reducing

electrosmog, supporting organs, treating various pathogens or having an

all-out assault on your main pathogen, detoxing, etc.. Whichever path

you choose, it will be a lot of effort for most. Many are using a lit

bit of everything, and I definitely like mixing things up.

Love and prayers,

Hi- I know this is off topic-

I'm running out of options-

I had fibro 1998 (started as bad headaches up back of head, then stiff

neck etc) optic neurits 2006 with vision loss- illness shifted and has

progressed rapidly to now MS type symptoms. MRI's are normals-Neuro says

it is not MS. When I've tried to treat I have acclerated the disease. I

just don't have herx's I have violent neurolgoical explosions. Did Zhang

for 6 months 3 years ago and added buhner on top of it. Had neurological

explosion to non functional for 4 months-went from having eye pain and

brain fog to too many MS type symptoms to list plus excessive

jerking/twitching- stopped herbs took 4 months to recover but not back

to baselien was left with neuro symptoms I didn't have before.

after 8mos- i slowly added cat's claw, devils claw, sarsparilla- was on

for 1.5 years but still had decline.

Then in November tried my first drugs for antifungal treatment 8 days'

of flagyl, 3 week difllucan- and some herb lyme tea-this sent me into

hell. I went from not well (bad brain fog, eye pain ,weaker left side,

jerking and some twitching) into Hell. Now been housebound in agony for

5 months now and not getting better. I know have unbelieveable nerve

pain/irritation in my neck /brain ( on a prescription-

for gaba pentin now!), left side numb, right arm numb, jerking and

twitching like never before, total insomnia not relieved by meds, weak

shaky neck, head jerking, eye presure, weird sensation on left side of

head, weak legs and arms, dizzy sick, burning all over- pretty much in

agony 7X24 and not getting better.

I see a big name east coast lyme doc on May 5- BUT I " m terrified- I

cannot physically take getting any sicker. How can I put more drugs in

my body. I know I need to do something. I feel really toxic and

hypersenstive to everything now. I used to be able to take all kinds of

herbs. Can't take anything now.

I consulted with a local naturopath and she suggested homeopathy in my

case given how reactive to everything. And connected me with along time

mentor /well known respected homeopath in the US.

Do you think homeopathy can cure/reverse a neurologoical disease like

late stage neuro lyme/ MS type illness?

I don't know what to do anymore. I feel like I've done everything since

onset of fibro 12 years ago and this illness has progessed so much. I

eat allorganic gluten free, sugar free, whole foods diet, exercised (i

did not now)every day for most of 12 years, massage weekly, acupncutre,

rolfing, silver fillings out etc etc etc etc

Also looking at a compnay in the US that offers stem cell treatments.

Pretty scared about how ill I've become. Help!

agree, recovering from chronic Lyme with ABX seems to take years for most people

as well. This is why it is so difficult to prove that longterm ABX is effective

for chronic lyme (I doubt it really is, after reading most of the literature).

The result of longterm ABX may not be better than placebo (many people gradually

recover from whatever illness if you give them enough time, or maybe they just

get used to some of the symptoms). And even if ABX work better than placebo, it

may be due to sideeffects like decreasing inflammation or changes in glutamate

metabolism.

killing the spirochetes is one way, restoring the damage done and strengthening

the immune system is another way ot treating this disease.

ABX was a life-saver for my son, he was quickly deteriorating at then age 17...

tho long term oral abx did not get him completely well, it did stop many

processes and allows him to be stabilized...

I do think tho there's no way to completely get rid of it, just oppress/suppress

it continually/ultimately.
