Dear a, Rose, Pepi, Golf, et al:,

In the early days they used specific roads for the farm markets..

(eggs, chickens, hogs, horses, cattle, vegitables and fruit)so that is

why they are called FM to get to town to sell. This is still kinda

considered 'the country " out here but boy do we have rapid

development and that is why we have no run off for the water. We

still have some deer and and other varmets out here, lots of possum,

skunks, wild cats etc. I do not like the developement one bit.

Pepi please email me we can go have lunch out here when you come

in from Tomball, I am off 249# and 1960 near Willowbrook.

Sad news, my brother in law`s house got hit by high water and they

live near Inwood Forrest near White Oaks Bayou.....they have lost

everything. Both cars were in the garage and when the water hit at 5

am. they could see the alarm lights flashing then go dead. They are

lucky, got 3 feet of water didn`t go to the roofs like alot of

people. They are very lucky to be alive. We are all helping out,

gotta rip out the carpet and pull out the baseboards. Salvage what we

can. They are trying to clean up and making sure no snakes are in

the house.

Saw the mayor on TV and downtown is suppose to be closed tomorrow

all basements flooded and no power. Only city workers allowed to come

in. Parts of the freeways are impassable because the flooding took

off asphalt off the road and still alot of high water, mud and debis.

((hugs))

Samm
