Pregnant with Lyme desease

Hello,

I just joined this group, and thought I would introduce myself. I live in Maine, I'm 41 years old and 8 months pregnant. I was diagnosed with symptoms of Lyme desease after a recent tick bite. My ob and primary care physcian are unfamiliar with my case, as I am the first person in my area to have contracted Lyme desease who is pregnant. I am most concerned with the effects it can have on my unborn chlid... I have searched several sites, but have been unable to really find out much info. If anyone has had the same experience, I sure would appreciate any and all information that you would share with me. So far my symptoms have been the bulls eye rash, nausea, fatigue, and some muscle weakness. Of course these symptoms are hard to know for sure if it's the Lyme or the pregnancy?(except for the rash).
