LLMD wanted bicillin- Allergist said NO WAY!!-DOXY?

My LLMD was awaiting a RAST test on penicillan, and it came negative

so he prescribed penicillan for 1 week with taking my antihistamines.

Allergist(#1) said NO WAY! with my history of abx allergies, and that

the RAST is lucky if it's 70% accurate it's too big a risk. Allergist

tested me on doxy, no reactions.

OTHER allergist (#2)said OK will try me on penicillan IN his office,

etc, he believes the RAST test to be more accurate.

anyone feel doxy could do the job that bicillin injections could?

Maybe I can avoid another allergy and steroid rounds again!!!!
