Dear Robynn,

Many thanks for posting the reminder. It's cold and raining in New

Jersey today. Mailing a postcard is better for most of us at this time

of year than a march!

For those with a little extra energy, let's put the green ribbons out in

front of our houses on February 1st-14th. If you decorate with a big

red heart in your window, cut out some lime green hearts to represent

family members with Lyme.

I've been reading the posts about contacting talk shows and getting no

response, etc. We will only start to get respect when they realize how

many of us there are. Most Americans have no idea what a financial time

bomb awaits our medical system. The care needed for Alzheimer's and

autoimmune disease suffers will be overwhelming.

If we don't start to diagnose and treat Lyme and other tick borne

illnesses soon, the only doctor who will welcome us with open arms will

be Jack Kevorkian.

Please ask your local church, club, or employee organization to announce

the " Have A Heart " campaign. Make sure they understand it is

non-partisan. Let's try to mail closer to the 1st than the 10th. We

don't want to interfere with true love!

Thanks again for posting the reminder and many thanks to those who have

circulated the campaign around the country. You don't even need a

helmet to participate in the post card blitz!
