Guest guest
Hi, Do you live in Michigan? :-) She did what she legally had to do, which was to give me 30 days notice and list of doctors in area. Because of the long relationship and because of shortage of RHUEM's, she should have spoken directly to me and offered to personally refer me to a doctor of my choice or hers. (And given a better reason! lupus patients need to be followed by rheum, PCP certainly won't!) One of the docs on her list is abusive to patients as witnessed by lupus foundation chairperson. Right now I am trying to speak or see her and have informed office to get back to me in 2 business days and am documenting all contacts. I never thought this would ever remotely happen, but it did. As I said in post to list, I doubt I can trust a doc again as this was more than just doc/pt relationship. And I agree that this is negligence. Will see what happens in next couple of days and go from there. Thank you for writing and take care, Christie ------------------------ > mlmccoy@... writes: >><< Her reason for discharging me was that I was " too complicated.
