Lyme Disease, and educating as many people as I can. That includes the young residents in the ERs. I did hear the Attending tell a young resident: " If it's Lyme, anything can happen - it can do anything. " Sounds like there's one ER doc out there who knows ab. it! Healing and good energy to you all, Marie Marie - I am so proud of you! Good golly! The road you've been down is almost unbelievable -- unless of course, you have Lyme <grin>..........and I think your communication style lends much validity to the bizarre manifestations associated with the disease process. You've made a huge deposit in your " karmic bank account " as well as the Lyme community at large. I thank you so much for helping to breakhrough the close-mindedness of so many healthcare professionals. IMHO, I think that MOST healthcare professionals simply don't know most of the facts about lyme - an education issue, really. And what you've done, Marie, is educated several docs, who I bet will be talking about this, at least a little bit, as " a very interesting case/patient " with their colleaugues. Just think, if we all were effective in opening the minds of just few docs....... Way to go Marie! NurseDeb
