, Yes, this is normal when you have lyme and especially if your

lyme load is heavy! This is called a Herxheimer reaction (Herx) and it will

continue until you get the lyme load under control, then you will have @3

weeks were you are able to function and one week where it will be bad. I

also just learned that it usually cycles with your period. In my case, I

have been on antibiotics for over 8 months and have been sick (bedridden

basically) the entire time. My lyme load is extremely heavy and my LLMD

checks my blood every time I see him, because it does effect every organ,

muscle and tissue in your body as well as your brain!

Go to Amazon.com and get some of the lyme books, especially the one that

was written by a woman. It wa one of the first ones written and is still

considered to be one of the best for basic information. I understand she

wrote this book because she had a son that was @ 4 years old and had gotten

lyme from her when she was pregnant with him and that he was fine until he

was suddenly stricken and that this was at a time when NO ONE knew anything

about Lyme. This was one of the first documented cases of lyme being

transferred from a mother to a child through pregnancy. The more you read,

the more you will learn about this insidious illness!

I have some of the very latest information that has now been posted on

into a special file on theinternet. I will try to find out the web address.

It is @ 33 pages long with all possible symptoms with each one having the

exact citation (medical journal where it was published) and in 1-5 sentence

summaries! It was given to me by LLMD and is the very latest information on

lyme and is on the cutting edge of lyme research! I have been able to read

several pages and have learned more in those few pages and it is all

scientifically based and medically sound!

Also, our LLMD said to be sure to take the Doxy in only one form, I

can't remember if it is only the caplets or the pills, but the other form is

harmful to the intestinal and stomach lining. I will try to find out exactly

so that we will have the right information.
