Guest guest
We're on round 2. We did the 1st round last weekend with ALA (and aside from a very large dose that I was giving my 40 lbs son) he did ok on the round. We saw a lot of melt downs following the round but it was explained to me (thank you, board!) that it was a heavy redistribution because of a large dose we were giving him. We were suggested to do a couple rounds with a small dose of DMSA and then try adding ALA. We're on round 2 (our first round with DMSA). He's on 2.5 mg every 3 hours. He was ok yesterday and through the night. Now, he looks like a child with a cold - very lethargic, laying on a sofa and only wants books read to him... stuffy nose... no fever though... Should I be concerned? Or is it a coincidence that a cold took place on the round? He was SO happy-go-lucky on the first round on a mega dose of ALA and he is completely in bits and pieces now on 2.5 mg of DMSA... I am upping vit E and C... Any other suggestions? We are not stopping the round yet... is that ok? Thank you
