Guest guest Posted January 17, 2001 Report Share Posted January 17, 2001 Hi Everyone, We have a newer member to our SG who has two teens with Lyme one for over 7 years one since last Aug. She suspects she has it also, they live in MN Lyme Central, but takes ABX for acne. She called me because son #2 had 30 days of antibiotics after his bite in Aug but he waited to tell his mom so it was some time before the ABX. He has been to tired to keep up in school or go out with friends so she had a WB done. She called and wanted to talk about the results and got upset when I did not have the information on hand. I will be honest. I think that the tests are useless and the information is available somewhere on line and since it changes I usually look it up each time. I cannot keep it in my head. But I am having a flare, my Mom just went into the hostpital for emphysema and our plans to make a difference at the FDA hearing evaporated. I also think that the current administration is also bad for us. I didn't realize how I sounded but it must not have been helpful. If anyone knows a link I can refer her too or is willing to talk Western Blot to a MN Mom tonight please let me know. I would have trouble finding my pages tonight. Thanks Lynn in St (651) 644-3756.
