Guest guest
To The Group, I have been suffering terribly w/ debilitating CFS for 4 years and recently went to a Rhem. MD in Caldwell and was diagnosed with Babesiosis. My Titers she said were very high(over 2400). I need some advise from those who can provide me with good feedback. Mentally I am depressed big time, barely holding onto my job, father of 3 young children, and a wonderful wife who I am driving insane with mood swings that I feel are not controllable. My fatigue is real bad as is weakness, weight loss etc... This MD wants to put me on the Atovaquone and Zithromycin to treat my disease. I did not test + for Lyme however will be doing the urine test this week. My WBC are pretty low and she mentioned bone marrow problems along with my liver bilirubin being elavated. Should I pursue the ABX therapy? Does it work from anyone with experience. And is my CFS really a result of the Babesiosis or not? What can I expect from these ABX in the short term ? Any advise on point would be appreciated since I have been down dead ends too many times before. Sincerely, Bob in NJ
