Guest guest Posted March 31, 2000 Report Share Posted March 31, 2000 Hi, I have heard from Ellen Lubarski about the vaccine, here is what she says about the vaccine and New York State: I spoke with , our lobbyistin Albany (through FAIM), about the NYS Vaccine Bill. has spoken with Brodsky about the bill. He has assured her thathis only intention in writing the bill was to pressure the publicschools to do Lyme disease education. If it gets anywhere near being voted on (which it will not, anyway), he has said he will change he bill in any way she wants. is urging us to just let this issue go. I trust totally.We cannot afford to get diverted from our letter writing campaign re the OPMC harassment of our LLMD's. It's not like we have a lot of (any) energy to spare. Me again, Now in my opinion this is mighty strange, but so are politics and the writing of bills. I know that many bills start out as one thing and end up totally different when they are voted upon, things get tacked on at the end, I think that's how we got ERISA. I would suggest to all that we heed 's advice, and not write our legislators about this bill as it reads now, we will have plenty of time to do so if the need arises when it is presented for the vote. I really can't answer any further questions right now about this so hold them for now and send those letters to protest the OPMC.
