Please note: LymeCURE will be designing a new message board. It promises to

be more like the old LymeNet Flash board. I for one don't visit the

LymeNet's new message boards because I wasn't happy with the change. Maybe

this board will provide something that I know many of us miss. This isn't

done yet, but if you want to test the site out for the developers when it

becomes available, read below and email them. =)

LYMECURE 2001(ation Understanding Research & Education)

LYME DISEASE SUPPORT GROUP MEETING

The fourth Tuesday of every month, LYMECURE 2001 (ation Understanding

Research & Education) will hold support group meetings from 6:30-9:00 P.M.

(approximately) at the Tredyffrin Township Municipal Building at Duportail

and Mill Roads in Chesterbrook, in the small public meeting room.

All members of the public are welcome, including lyme disease sufferers,

their families, friends and neighbors. We welcome doctors, nurses and all

health care professionals and other members of the community interested in

learning about Lyme Disease and other tickborne disorders as well. Topics

include preventive measures, issues related to diagnosis and testing,

conventional and alternative approaches to treatment, insurance coverage

issues, and other realted health topics and related concerns.

Meetings feature a round table discussion permitting all attendees who wish

to participate the opportunity to share information, raise questions or

issues of concern to them. This forum permits those affected and concerned

to share information and experiences and to network with others. Meetings

may also feature a speaker or video presentation when scheduled.

Please bring a friend, family member or neighbor along with you so that

they may obtain a better understanding of this complex and potentially

devastating disease which is impacting our community and the surrounding

areas.

Feel free to forward this email along-- forward it as often and to as many

as you like! All are welcome--the more the merrier!

LYMECURE 2000 (ation Understanding Research & Education) is a

Pennsylvania Non-profit corporation in the process of seeking approval from

the IRS as a 501©(3) charitable corporation. Our purpose is to provide

education on

Lyme disease and other tickborne disorders to the communities that we serve

regarding prevention, diagnosis and treatment of these diseases. We also

provide informational and support services to those already afflicted by

these illnesses regarding a range of issues. We provide referrals to Lyme

Literate doctors. We are working with other groups, locally, regionally

and nationally to advocate on behalf of Lyme patients everywhere. We are

working with local, state and national government as appropriate to advance

the

Lyme cause. We are also attempting to provide support for our doctors who

are

bravely trying to treat people with Lyme and other tickborne disorders in

the face of skepticisim and controversy. We hope to raise significant funds

to

accomplish these goals and to fund research projects of merit. Your

support is appreciated in trying to help us to help others.
