Guest guest
Does anyone have experience with event monitors? I am using the wristwatch kind but it doesn't seem to be picking up the heart " flutters " and the phone contact won't tell me much of anything. I am wondering if this thing actually works well. Do I have one that isn't working? These people are charging $600+ for this little gadget and I don't believe it will help document rare and possibly dangerous events if it doesn't even catch more common palpitations. The last thing I need is more negative tests, especially when this cardio doesn't even believe I have LD. He insisted that I repeat the echocardiogram; said my previous one was doubtful; came up with normal this time. Great, more contradictory tests. Why did my lyme doc send me to a non-believer? But then, he is a pretty obnoxious guy all around (the cardio). He took 2 phone calls while with me: one from a patient of his who was flying back from Europe with chest pains; the other from his wife. He was not very nice to either one.
