Guest guest
Hi , This was bound to happen sometime. My suggestion is that we not respond to any poster who is disrespectful or uses profanity directed at us. Take Care, Joan LI NY
Guest guest
If people would like to e-mail Fluffy personally about the big C I don't see why we could not do it that way.....Also if you don't want to read her post then don't. But, I feel that everyone has a right to be here. There will always be a time when we all don't agree with what the other is saying....If you don't agree with someone just let it roll off your back and move on to more important things....We are all to sick and life it to short to be fighting with each other.......So lets be kind to each other and move on....... Just a thought.... Hugs to all Faye

We need to build up > the momentum and get as many members to write to new york politicans and " cannot afford to be derailed " ... " momentum " ... what utter bull this is ... your really heaping up the chit lyme disease has been derailed into the dark ages many decades ago and lack of political awareness is one cause and here you are rallying people ... if they shoot people who are more political aware, progress can be made ... yeah, right! > hopefully go to ny rally next month. What made the Gettysburgy Rally and the > NYC OPMB possible were the momentum gathered in this wonderful list along > with many lyme disease clubs. Again we need to be there for the new members > who benefit from our experience, mutual support, and understanding. We all > need to feel safe here. any real activist needs to look deep in their heart and decide whether they really want to do something real or just use it as an excuse to only socialize you need to keep people " safe " from such ideas especially about government conspiracies > > I would hate to see this group destroyed.. It happened to a small private you may have an agenda of dumbing down content i have seen similar people like you on other lists. they prefer to help the government cover up the dirt ... why ... only they could answer that question > group because of one troll.. She managed to upset so many people that they > quit and finally because of the failure of the moderator to interfere, the > the core members went and set up their own group. I don't want to see this here you are again threatening the moderator ... if the mod doesn't do what you want, you and other like minded will leave using phrases like " failure of the moderator " ... you are conducting psychological warfare against the moderator with the THREAT I have seen these tactics used before. These usually come from people who " see nothing, know nothing, hear nothing " especially when it comes to all the government conduct ... essentially participate in the governments cover up ... they also become the unofficial censors for the government ... the best lists never succumb to such threats ... the central question really is ... does one want dumb down content even if it means losing a few dumb asses or people who want to assist the government to sweep the chit under the rug ... sometimes you can't have everything > happen here. Marta did a wonderul job with this list and I hope to see it > continuing to help others as much as it helps me. > > We should set up some basic rules.. about respect and ban of profanity and you notice profanity but you don't notice the government is screwing the lyme patient over big time ... if i had to choice of rallying 5 politically aware people or 500 dumb asses, i would choose the former. in the long run, it will produce the most effective results > perhaps have a frank discussion what should be discussed in lyme aid topics > and what topics are appropriate for off list topics. The group is for all you are jockeying to be chairman of the censorship committee also, chairman of the cover up committee your, well qualified for both > members and the wishes of the group should be respected. > > I hope my post is clear.. bad brainfog here. > > elizabeth people like you claim brainfog because you know your full of it your lack of response to anything i said, makes that clear if your representative of the core group of " activists " ... the lyme group is politically dead ... pound the nails in the coffin ... and wish Dr. B good luck Fluffy
Guest guest
the ignore tactic is another very popular tactic. it doesn't work well since one needs to shut out reality the reality won't go away by ignoring it disrespectful means i need to kiss your ass also, this profanity stuff is nothing but a red herring Fluffy > Hi , > This was bound to happen sometime. Guest guest
Fluffy, If you have pertinent information to post, how about you do it in a civil manner...that doesn't mean you are " ass-kissing " , but being a respectful member of this group. Otherwise, we will not be receptive (or will 'ignore', as you put it) to your " information " ...period. Joan Sorry, guys, for continuing this thread. prioris@... writes: <<disrespectful means I need to kiss your ass>>
