Guest guest
One the first things that happened to me was a hypothyroid condition, followed of course by worse things. My llmd was not surprised. Guest guest
Who is your LLMD? My LLMD believes my hypothyroid and high cholesterol are Lyme related. Rita in CT
Guest guest
Hi, Ever since I discontinued IV antibiotics I cannot stop having chills. I'm freezing all the time. My LLMD is having me try Armour Thyroid pills, a tiny dose, to see if it helps. It has been 5 weeks since I stopped the IV. I don't know if I have thyroid problems or not, but it may help. Oh, I take my first pill tomorrow & they smell putrid. I phoned the pharmacy & was told this putrid odor is normal. I'll try to update you in the near future. The Luvox dried up my constant tears for the time being. Hugs, a
Guest guest
Hi a, Until very recently my daughter slept with 5 comforters. She was always freezing. Perhaps it is just the lyme. Feel better. Guest guest
Just read an article in the paper today about Synthroid...seems the FDA has contacted the manufacturer that they contain wildly varying amounts of the active substance and that could cause many problems with people taking it. Guest guest
Is there a herb or supplement that can be taken in place of Synthroid? Thanks, Pepi
Guest guest
I just spoke to my pharmasist and he says that the company that produces synthroid is complying with the new application and that this all boils down to money and the other company that sells thyroid meds. Guest guest
Is this characteristic of lyme? When I tried doxycyline 100mgTID po my hands and feet warmed up and I felt more comfortable than I had for years since getting a sinus infection from drinking unpasteuristed sheeps milk. When I stopped the doxy I felt colder and more achey than ever. Recently I had a thyroid test and T3 was below normal. I currently have a dx of CFS but suspect lyme. Any clues help.
