Anyone Else With Toothaches/Sensitivity?

Hi,

I have had problems with achiness/sensitivity in my teeth that sort

of moves around from quadrant to quadrant in my mouth. It is worst

on the right side of my mouth where I recently had fillings replaced

making it difficult to chew on that side, but the other side gets a

little achey as well. I actually have some more filling replacements

scheduled for the left side, but may forego them for now fearing that

I will also lose the ability to chew on either side! My dentist is

excellent and after checking and re-checking assures me that the

dental work is fine and that he can find nothing wrong with the

teeth, roots, or nerves. I have begun using a sensitive tooth

toothpaste, but have yet to see any improvement.

I thought it was " just me " until I came across the following item

from the Academy of General Dentistry linking Lyme to exactly such

problems: http://www.agd.org/consumer/media/february01/lyme.html.

(I assume this has to do with Lyme causing damage/inflammation in the

nerve.)

Questions:

1) Has anyone else had a similarly recalcitrant toothache/tooth

sensitivity problem with their Lyme?

2) More importantly, has anyone found a way to make it go away or at

least improve the situation?

With all of my other ongoing problems of chronic illness, not being

able to chew well, the constant toothache/sensitivity, and the

inability to withstand dental work withoutinflaming another tooth to

ache has become a major downer. I would appreciate any helpful

suggestions anyone has.

Thanks,

Jim
