Guest guest
DEAR FRIENDS: Ticked Off and Fed Up, Inc. has officially garnered its status as a federally tax exempt charity. Therefore, any funds you would like to contribute would be most welcome and would be used for the purposes as stated at tickedoffandfedup.com, for our August 11th and 12th 2001 events in Gettysburg, PA. In the meantime, please begin getting hotel accomodations for that time. August 11th is a country-western day with bands on the slopes of Ski Liberty Resort, and August 12th is the FIRST NATIONAL LYME CONVENTION. ALL VICTIMS, FAMILY MEMBERS, CONCERNED FRIENDS ARE WELCOME. At this convention, we will meet and divide into groups according to our interests and talents to face the challenges of the Lyme community. It is our chance to organize and " Unionize " in order to provide the necessary support from Lyme disease victims for our other National organizations. Our national organizations have done an outstanding job, but they need our help now. We cannot sit back and rely on others to fight our battles for us. Each of us comes from a background which can add something very unique to the group as a whole, and we expect you to be of service to the " cause. " We realize that most of us are disabled, but that is not a reason to sit back - for if we do not do all that we are capable of doing, then we will die. Our doctors will not be practicing, we will not have medicine, and we will remain uncared for orphans of a national crisis which no one cares to notice.
