Guest guest
Dear Judi, I'm so sorry for the loss of your daughter. I wonder how many miscarriages in this country could be attributed to undiagnosed Lyme disease? Eileen, NJ

Guest guest
Dear Jules, yes, I have been on an antibiotic for the past 2 years. 6 pills a day. I go off the medication when I go into remission. I am in remission now...and have been for 4 months. I know the symptoms will return..but I enjoy the break while I can. judi
Guest guest
Janet- Interesting idea...breast cancer related to LD. My mom has lyme (doesn't want to know it yet has severe symptoms) and she, too, had a radical masectomy. It is well known that lyme can be blamed for miscarriages, why not cancer? what is cancer anyway? MS, lupus, Lou Gehrig's disease, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, etc. are all misdiagnosed and those that are curious get tested for lyme PROPERLY and many find out they have lyme. Isn't that interesting??? sue in nj

Guest guest
HI there, I was just reading this post and wondering if you could send me some links on passing it......see I have had lyme for years......was in a dormant stage for about 12 yrs so I carried both of my children while having it......they have both been checked out by a well known llmd and tested.....one came back equivocal and one was suggestive so they are both starting treatment on Monday.......for 3 months....I have wanted to talk to others about this......there is so little info on this and my llmd says it would be hard to prove gestational lyme because they are 5 and 7.....and of course the only things you find on the net are the horror stories of kids with lyme.....I would love to talk if anyone wants to..... Guest guest
Hello Amy, I don't have a link to the information I posted because as far as I know it is not online. I can mail you a final copy of the gestational study by Dr. if you can open Excel and Word. The Tessa Gardner, MD chapter is something you could probably get through the library. best wishes- Edina Re: [ ] Re: Is there an end? > > > The answer I got was: I wouldn't pass it on to a baby after having had > this much treatment (which was at that time little over a year of oral > abx) > Best of luck, >
Guest guest
Edina, I just read on the list that you may have an article regarding gestational lyme? Can you please, please send it to me as well. I just got diagnosed about 2 weeks ago. I have been sick with what I now know to be lymes for 33 years. Yes, that's 33 years. You can imagine how many doctors I have been to over my life. I have 3 children who are all sick. My son is 20 and has been sick with strange things all his life, my 16 year old has a brain tumor and has many other symptoms. She was also bitten by a tick several years ago and developed the typical bulls eye rash. No doctor has treated her. My 13 year old has been very sick since birth, almost died at birth and now has been too sick to attend school. Since my doc has finally diagnosed me he has ordered additional tests for my daughters. As soon as I can I will get these done. Does anyone know of a LLMD in the Bay area of California? Thanks, Darcie
