Guest guest
Hi we took our son, Sam, now 10 to Pfeiffer in 2003, Dr Usman was there at that time and we are under her now (she has a separate practice down the road!). Pfeiffer were very good, we saw Bill Walsh when we were there and he is a really good guy and not in it for the money. We did the Pfeiffer protocol for 2 years (MTP plus the supplements/vitamins). Sam did well on this but he is one of the hard nuts to crack and we felt time was running out as far as getting the metals out. Dr Usman thought the only way was chelation so we started TD DMPS in Jan this year, seeing good things but really no different from the progress (so far) we saw with the Pfeiffer protocol which is more conservative. I think Pfeiffer do DMSA for what they consider very toxic kids, last I heard they were not doing TD DMPS yet. All in all we have no regrets about Pfeiffer, efficient, not too expensive, just a pain to have to go to the US and the cost that incurs. good luck! Guest guest
My son is an undermythelator who is currently having very bad " rages " . He is 10. I think it is due to excessive histamine. There is no doc nearby to treat him. Am considering going to the Pfeiffer center in IL. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks. Guest guest
Before son's DMSA chelation, I did use benadryl to stabilize my son. 2 teaspoons of it lasted a whole day. My son was happy all the day. I don't believe benadryl can handle the mobilized mercury. > > My son is an undermythelator who is currently having very bad " rages " . He is 10.
